As many of you know LeSueur Car Company is a family owned and operated business.  We consider our customers a part of our family, and have had the honor of selling vehicles to generation after generation of Arizona residents.  But let’s shelf the car talk for a bit, and talk about some fun.  Here are a few exciting upcoming events for local families!

2016 IRONMAN Arizona, Nov. 20th 2016-  Tempe

The inaugural IRONMAN Arizona was held on April 9, 2005, in cooperation with the City of Tempe and the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community. With its fast and flat course around Tempe Beach Park and Tempe Town Lake, and spectator-friendly atmosphere, the race quickly gained popularity. Given the desert heat, the race was moved to a much cooler November race date in 2008, where it attracts a wide range of triathletes who’ve had the whole summer to train.

Arizona Pupusas Festival, Nov 13th  2016- Tempe

You might not be an expert on El Salvador, but that won’t stop you from enjoying one of the country’s most beloved creations. On Sunday, November 13, the Arizona Pupusas Festival will serve up as many of the filled masa pockets as you can handle. Hosted by Salvadoreño Restaurant, you’ll find eight different pupusa makers slinging their edibles filled with all manner of meats, cheeses, and beans at the Ruben Romero Ramada at Kiwanis Park, at Mill Avenue and All America Way in Tempe. Tickets are $10, and pupusas are $2 to $3, depending on the filling. VIP tickets are also available for $60, which includes a special “I Love Pupusas” T-shirt. The event runs from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. You can find more information at azpupusasfestival.com.  I don’t know about you guys, but I LOVE to eat.  A fun outing for all ages.

Holiday Tree Lighting, Nov. 23rd 2016- Tempe

Join Tempe Marketplace and 99.9 KEZ to kick off the holiday season! The evening starts with a professional ice skating performance in front of the District Stage, followed by the lighting of our 60-foot holiday tree. Then, at 7pm, it will magically snow for the very first time this holiday season.  What a great event for families with younger kids!  Who doesn’t like getting into the holiday spirit and enjoying some snow?

Holiday Skating, Nov 25th 2016- Tempe

Children 5 and older are invited to enjoy free holiday skating in the District Plaza between H&M and Dave and Buster’s at Tempe Marketplace. Skates are provided at no cost; just bring socks!  WOW free ice skating?  Sign me up!
